SDS Consult delivers Ghana's national platform for tradesperson and Master Craft Person accreditation, certification, and professional growth — in partnership with CEA (Complementary Education Agency) Ghana, and aligned with the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) standards.
Ghana's tradespeople and Master Craft Persons form the backbone of the country's informal economy, yet for years lacked a unified way to have their skills formally recognized. SDS Consult was built to close that gap: a single digital platform where skills are assessed, standards are enforced, and certification is trusted nationwide.
Working in partnership with CEA (Complementary Education Agency) Ghana, and certifying in alignment with CTVET's national standards, the platform brings together administrators, regional coordinators, field agents, and facilitators to run the full accreditation lifecycle — from agent registration and shop accreditation through skills assessment, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), and issuance of verifiable digital certificates.
Every certificate issued through the platform carries a QR-verifiable record, so employers, clients, and institutions can confirm a tradesperson's credentials instantly — extending the same rigor and trust of formal education systems to Ghana's skilled trades.

The Complementary Education Agency (CEA) was established under the Complementary Education Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1055), operating under Ghana's Ministry of Education. Its vision is to lead complementary education in transforming lives, with a mission to make quality education accessible, equitable, and inclusive across all 16 regions of Ghana.
CEA delivers four core programmes — including Occupational Skills Development (OSD), which trains and empowers youth with practical trade skills. It is this programme that anchors CEA's partnership with SDS Consult: bringing formal accreditation and CTVET-aligned certification to skills earned through CEA's training pathways.
